MIMStudios was tasked with remodeling and designing the new X-it Beauty Salon on Rupert Street. The space consists of a narrow, high-ceilinged entrance area that leads directly from the bustling Rupert Street market into an exciting yet calming environment.

An undulating timber ceiling installation creates warmth and a welcoming atmosphere. The hanging sections provide soft, indirect lighting while concealing the mechanical and ventilation systems, ensuring easy access for maintenance. A small alcove was transformed into a built-in reception desk, keeping the narrow entrance area open and free for circulation.

Downstairs, the layout accommodates three treatment rooms, all featuring exposed brick walls and simple detailing to offer clients a calming and restorative experience.
